w: w is an abbreviation for width.
Weak inequality: An inequality which allows the possibility of equality with either the symbol smaller or equal (≤) or bigger or equal (≥).
Week: A length of time that is equal to 7 days.
Weight: A measure of how heavy an object is.
Weighted average: An average where certain values or numbers in the dataset are more important than others.
Whole numbers: Whole numbers include the natural numbers and 0, such as 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ...
Width:The distance across or the measure of how wide something is.
Winding number: The number of times a closed curve moves counterclockwise around a point.
Withdrawal: The amount of money taken out of a bank account.
